Dr. McKenzie Talbot, originally from Maine, attended the University of New England in Biddeford Maine, where she graduated a semester early, for her undergraduate studies in pre-medical. She then went on to attend graduate school at the University of Rhode Island, earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Dr. McKenzie has been in practice for the past 9 years, specializing in sacroiliac joint dysfunction, chronic back, sports injuries, cervical and thoracic spine, as well as temporomandibular dysfunction. In addition to her traditional training, she was introduced to the John F. Barnes method of Myofascial Release, which she places at the core of her practice. She believes in treating the whole body, not just a part, and embraces this holistic approach to medicine. In her spare time, Dr. McKenzie enjoys yoga, barre, occasional kickboxing, traveling, and skiing. She also enjoys cooking and entertaining, spending time with friends and family, anything to do with the ocean, and her beloved puppy.
