RECLAIM YOUR CONFIDENCE

with Natural HEALING for BLADDER CONTROL

Listen, I know you’re frustrated.

So please hear me when I say this, and know that you are not alone:

This isn’t normal, & you no longer have to accept this as part of your life.

If you’re experiencing leaks when you sneeze, cough, run, or jump—or find yourself constantly rushing to the bathroom—you’re not alone. Many women think this is just something they have to live with, whether it’s due to a past pregnancy, menopause, or simply aging. But here’s the truth: while incontinence is common, it is absolutely not normal—and it’s not something you have to accept as a permanent part of your life.

1 in 3 women will have some urinary incontinence which, if not properly addressed, will lead to chronic long-term incontinence.

At Arancia Physical Therapy, we hear from women every day who share these frustrations and struggles. Stress incontinence, urgency, and leakage are some of the most common concerns we help our clients overcome. And you deserve answers.

Why Is This Happening to Me?

You may have tried Kegel exercises or over-the-counter solutions, but nothing seems to work—or worse, the problem has gotten more frustrating over time. Perhaps a doctor has recommended surgery or medication, leaving you feeling uncertain or overwhelmed.

Many women we meet feel like they’ve tried everything but still haven’t found lasting relief. The good news? We specialize in a natural, hands-on approach to incontinence that goes far beyond generic advice or quick fixes.

Sound familiar?

  • You hoped the issue would resolve on its own—but it hasn’t.

  • You were told surgery or medication is your only option, but you’re hesitant.

  • You’ve tried Kegels or exercises you found online with little success.

  • Friends or family said this is “normal” after having kids or during menopause, so you’ve accepted it.

  • You’ve visited other physical therapists or healthcare professionals, but their treatments didn’t help.

  • You’re frustrated after weeks or months of trying products or advice that just didn’t work.

If any of this resonates, we want you to know that help is available. And while your past attempts haven’t worked, they’ve brought you closer to finding the solution that will.

I am embarrassed and frustrated. What can I do?

Here are three steps to reclaim your confidence and comfort:

  1. Decide to Get Help.

Many women put off seeking professional care, hoping incontinence will resolve itself. Taking the first step to work with a pelvic floor specialist is the key to lasting change.

  2. Do the Right Exercises.

Incontinence isn’t just about Kegels. With the right series of progressive exercises customized to your specific needs, we’ll help you strengthen your pelvic floor and core muscles while addressing the root cause of your symptoms.

  3. Get a Comprehensive Pelvic Floor Assessment.

A trained pelvic floor specialist will assess your muscles —both externally and internally— to identify and correct the problem.

How can you help me overcome this?

Our Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy Program is tailored to your unique needs and designed to provide lasting relief.

  • A thorough evaluation to uncover the root cause of your symptoms.

  • An analysis of your habits and triggers to address contributing factors.

  • A customized treatment plan with proven techniques to speed recovery.

  • Exercises and stretches that target your specific needs for effective, lasting results.

  • A natural approach to help you avoid medications or surgeries.

  • Support to get back to enjoying fitness, daily activities, and even jumping on the trampoline with your kids!

I believe every woman deserves to feel confident in her body—without the fear of bladder leakage holding her back. You don’t have to ‘just deal with it’ or rely on pads forever. Real healing is possible, and we’re here to help you take back your freedom with comfort and confidence. I am honored to be a part of your journey.

So, what does Physical Therapy have to do with incontinence?

Well, when you’re continent, it’s because certain muscles in your pelvic area are doing the job they were meant to do! When you’re incontinent, these muscles aren’t functioning properly, and need to be retrained… and the more you exercise them, the better they do their job. Doesn’t that sound like a better solution than using a pad to just absorb the leaks? And that’s why physical therapists have been helping women with incontinence issues for well over 25 years…by retraining the pelvic muscles.

P.S. …the endless Kegels are not the answer.

I’m sure you’ve all heard of Kegel exercises at one time or another. These are exercises designed to retrain the pelvic muscles. They alone don’t work very well with stress, urge, or mixed incontinence because:

Some of you may have tried kegel exercises, only to find that they did not improve the leaking.

A common reason for Kegels not working,  according to one study published by Henderson, et al, is a quarter of women do not perform Kegels correctly. They either contract the wrong muscles or fail to hold the contraction long enough, often because the muscles are already so weak. Or, they aren’t working because there is too much tissue inflammation causing restrictions over the bladder.
