Meet the Team

Kori Johnson-Hoopes , MS, OTR

Hello, my name is Kori!

I am an Occupational Therapist and am excited to be joining the Arancia Physical Therapy team. I have had exposure to holistic healing/practices/approaches since I was a child. It is something that is very near and dear to my heart. So having my clinical career and holistic-approach values merge is really indescribable.

For most of my twenties, I was a teacher assistant. I loved working with children but wanted to do something more. I graduated from Springfield College’s Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program in 2018. Prior to Arancia, I worked in long term care with varying populations (whether physical or mental illness). I will be specializing in treating pelvic health patients as well as patients with chronic pain. I am very much interested in continuing to learn more about both Pelvic Health and Chronic Pain and have recently completed courses through The Institute For Brith Healing to include: “The Holistic Treatment of the Pregnant Body,” as well as “The Holistic Treatment of the Postpartum Body”. Additionally I am signed up to take a series of John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Courses in May, April and June to foster my learning journey of the fascial system and with the chronic pain population.

I have been coming here for about 1 year. I was feeling my lowest when I found Arancia PT and I don’t know where I would be without it. The transformation my mental state has gone through with improvement of my physical symptoms is amazing. I am looking forward to being able to help you achieve your goals, restore meaning and maximize your quality of life. So you can do what you love.

When I am not at work, I’m spending time with my family (my fiancé Ben, daughter Lillian and our dog Max), cooking, baking or sewing. I am honored to be here and to be a part of your healing journey!
